If an aspirant takes around 10 minutes for understanding the questions, swapping between segments and revision at the end, it gives him 50 minutes only. That means you have to solve 200 questions within 50 minutes (half a minute per question). However, there is no sectional time limit and cut off. But keep in mind that there is ¼ minus marking as well. Thus time management is essential.

The best method to make efficient time strategy is by practicing mock tests and evaluating them. A regular practice of a few mock tests will help you to recognize your strength and weak points and therefore you can choose the time limit for each section. If you are getting online preparation for SSC CGL, do not forget to follow the time management strategy. Go through the details below:

  • You should not give more than 10 minutes to the section of general awareness. In the first look to this part, you can easily figure out the questions you are prepared with right answers.
  • If your precision in any section is not so good as compared to other parts then you must give more time to this specific section.
  • Keep a little more minutes reserved for the strong section where you are very confident. A section where your correctness and marks have always been on a better level, it will be a good decision to spend extra minutes there to boost your marks. You should also start your exam with a strong section.
  • If you get stuck in a section or question, just leave it and proceed ahead to the next question.
  • The English language section has questions in a set pattern, thus with the right online preparation for SSC CGL, you can get a proper hold on this part.
